I feel like these barns I’m trying to save for you have been pulled off life-support and time is not on our side. Their usefulness here has been declared over, and I want to do what we can to save this amazing piece of history before it’s gone. Bulldozers feel perched and ready to go and I’m trying my best to beat them to it. Thank you for completing the cycle and getting these pieces to your space. These barns and the beams and boards and roofing that created them are ready for you to take their new place in your story for generations to come.
It can be a crowbar, a hammer, or a chainsaw in my hand. I love the work. There is something exciting to me about being in these old barns. You never know what you will find or what someone else will create from what I find. The work is hard, tiring, and so very dirty, but I just love doing it.
Reclaimed Barns & Beams provides lumber to those who create using historic wood that has a story.
